Truly A New Beginning!

Each year I plan so much but much is left unfinished,

but,

this year will be different

I am finally in Homer! After years of planning I finally made it!

I met with a small business planner to help get it rolling and the "problem" moving forward is my lack of cash... yeah, that is why I go after loans to do it! He said I will need to either get a job to show income or sell my sci fi trilogy called "Starfleet Alyeska".

Right now for shiggles I did a kickstarter because I miss my fiber art studio and it will be months before I can buy a house and get my stuff out of storage in Anchorage! It needs to reach the full funding amount since it is "all or nothing" and I have one backer so far. I hope more people become interested but I can totally understand my not having current pics to show! Also, it is not urgent as I have the supplies but in storage. I just do not want to wait around 6 months to be able to handcard wool, use my drum carder or blending board to create rolags or batts, spin yarn or weave yarn or most important of all: nuno felt yarn!

Many of you know i broke my hip at the beginning of 2025 and that changed a lot of things for me. It made me want to truly work on my mobility and strength this coming year! Not where i do it once a month but try to do it consistently. so that is a main goal for this year for me! my inspo is this girl:

And I plan to take her course sometime

. So things are looking so good poised at the start of a New Year! I feel this is the year! Course I feel that at the start of each year but this year I am in Homer and going to make it happen! hehe
