I had serious misgiving when I heard the American Vets were planning a huge thing to come on Dec 4th to Standing Rock… What I know about American military is they left my people to die citing "orders". I am from Attu, Alaska and have very little personal respect for American Vets. Do not get me wrong, I believe and respect true warriors no matter their race! But I view America as war criminals because of their actions. what is that saying: if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck then it is probably… a duck…
But I got seriously worried when I heard about them going to Standing Rock! I began to wonder why. I mean veterans going is amazing, I loved seeing the navy guy show up signaling distress to all! That was beautiful ~and non-violent. But why make a big show and a specific date about it? why the song and dance??!!
I heard next that they (think army engineers or some such group) plan to evict them on Dec 5th, from their own land, mind!! I immediately thought the worst! That the Vets make a big show of support to get there and with our trust then… I so hope I am wrong and history wont repeat itself…

It is truly terrifying to picture a bunch of white vets going there armed since all that will happen is another #indigenous massacre!
So, please American Vets, tell them to come unarmed or stay home!
It is specifically a peaceful protest, meant to show our true power in that we can live as we believe and not say one thing and do another. It is meant to give hope to the whole world. There is still strength and goodness in the world no matter what the fake news floods us with! Honor, Integrity, Valor ~ these are words that vets fought for and it wont mean a thing if you go there armed!
Respect the wishes of the #indigenous who want to keep it non-violent and peaceful!
It might be hard to imagine but picture the days leading up to the Holocaust when anyone Jewish began to get very nervous about the mood! The good thing is they can not hide their actions anymore! Thanks to modern tech we can keep in touch like never before!
It is a truly terrifying time for the indigenous! With half of America no longer feeling like they need to "pretend" to be decent anymore!! Looking forward to "Wild West" days of the Spaghetti Westerns… And the other half pretending not to be like that but living here all the same! Things need to change!
I know change is scary! It is why they are protesting so peacefully, so you can see us as we truly are! Can you picture these lands once again ruled by the #indigenous? It is something to think about!!
