Planning a move…
Planning a move…
One thing I think would be great is to move out to the countryside! It is something I have been thinking of for awhile now! I was thinking I should begin buying the tools I want as soon as I can afford them! I have some but want a band saw, sanders, scroll saws, etc. that go along with a nice craft shop! For the movie props it is necessary so I have been planning it out in stages.
I know how I want some of the props for the BOS trilogy to look so can't wait to get a space big enough I can build them! There are some pretty interesting places outside town yet only hours away!
I keep hoping I can get funded enough to make the move! I would love to live mostly off grid as a lifestyle! I think I would want hot water for showers as a "must" :p found some pretty places! I am half thinking of finding one across the inlet, a boat ride away! that would be cool too! I guess it depends on prices and what is available once I get the $$ together!
It is hard since we would love it by a lake if possible or close to the ocean but I hear that area is invaded by white vacationers in summer… that does not sound good! that is why we were thinking maybe a boat ride away to avoid them! I dont know though, I am half thinking just above Kenai, it appeals to me so much. I have never been but on the map it shows a native village right above it. how cool is that??!!
I have a vague memory of being in a village as a very young child and the old guy was teaching us to kayak. He was teaching us how to flip back over if we go upside down. I remember that so vividly but my sisters dont… I would love it a lot, to move close to one I mean!
One of my inspirations is this lady here:
It is the kind of things I would like to learn and do myself. It goes along with the movie prop making too, so I will be needing the tools eventually!
I am going to practice my vlog (why does it not recognize "v l o g" as a word??!! keeps trying to switch it to blog instead) intro… My hair is super goofy still as we trimmed the ends to keep it healthy but it was her first time cutting hair… heheh, should have done it myself but it is not that bad… :p but you will see of for yourself soon!
I hope to find a way to get the seed money that is honest and not creepy! We tried a bank loan for the SBA loans but the guy said it would be too much paper work and we would need more $$ to start… lol, if we had the down payment we could get a loan from our own bank, duh! It is meant for those starting out but they changed it so they dont manage the money themselves and give it to big banks that are anti-indigenous so you can imagine how many loans actually get done…
Soon!!! hang on and we will make it past this horror!! keep positive keep sending out good vibes and strength to the #indigenous and whoever else need them!
